REFLEX PLUS: a new concept in Automotive Diagnostics.

Launched at the Autopromotec Fair in Bologna in May 2005, the new Reflex Plus 4130 is a revolutionary “4th generation” diagnostic tool designed to meet the needs of workshops large and small.

This new diagnostics platform is the result of over a year of design cooperation between the European and American divisions of Tecnotest/SPX , one of the few genuinely global companies in the field of automotive diagnostics.

Reflex Plus provides high performance levels and is very user-friendly. This handy, portable tool, features a new ergonomic keyboard, easy grip handles, shockproof frame and weighs in at just over 1kg.

Perhaps even more importantly, Reflex Plus is equipped with a large full colour TFT display, providing unparalleled visibility even in unfavorable light conditions such as bright sunlight.

Reflex Plus features a digital multimeter (V, A, Ohms) with both low and high voltage scope options, including secondary ignition trace.

As well as full Serial diagnostics capability, the tool can also run the optional ECUreader® software with key technical data, on screen circuit diagrams, component location photographs and diagrams, malfunction and failure guidance.

Serial diagnostic applications are updated 4 times a year, with continuously improving coverage of European, American and Asiatic cars, motorcycles, vans and trucks.

With Reflex Plus, Tecnotest introduces to the market, for the first time, the concept of expansion. This is a major step forward that allows compact modules to “piggy back” on the rear of the tool. Modules include a 4 gas exhaust gas analyzer module, and a 4-channel high precision scope module with secondary ignition. Reflex Plus, is no longer just another scan tool, but can be specified to suit the individual needs of the technician.
 
Wireless communication modules can also be connected. Both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are available, for rapid connection to PC, printer or other Tecnotest tool.
