REFLEX PLUS 4130: a new concept in Automotive Diagnostics.

Launched at the Autopromotec Fair in Bologna in May 2005, the new Reflex Plus 4130 is a revolutionary “4th generation” diagnostic tool designed to meet the needs of workshops large and small.

This new diagnostics platform is the result of over a year of design cooperation between the European and American divisions of Tecnotest/SPX , one of the few genuinely global companies in the field of automotive diagnostics.

The Smart Module is a powerful diagnostic tool, designed to connect the ECU’s of Cars, Motorbikes, and Trucks to any computer such as a full Desktop PC, Laptop or Touch Screen Tablet.

The vehicle applications software is located on board the 5041, while the “Host Display” such as a Laptop, runs Java display software. The 5041 Smart Module is completely independent of any of the typical PC Operating Systems like Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

This represents a major step forward in flexibility, giving the user a much wider range of hardware options to choose from.
